Update on Vanessa Burton

Just thought I’d let you know that I got into WOW, World of Wearable Art in the South Pacific section.  I’m pretty chuffed and can’t believe I got in.  I really don’t think I have any chance of winning and I really didn’t enter to win to be honest.  Just for fun and for the creative opportunity, its a pretty unique competition/experience.  Sadly I can’t show photos of my entry now due to rules, suffice to say its a kind of gown, but will hopefully put some up on my Facebook after the shows in late September.  Anywhoo thought you’d be interested.  Honestly if I hadn’t done your Diploma course I’d never had the guts to enter, and I wouldn’t be run off my feet with making gowns which I’m loving, so thank you.
